| Daniel Brown is assistant professor of psychology at Harvard Medical School, and
director of Behavioral Medicine at Cambridge City Hospital. He received his
Bachelors' degree from the University of Massachusetts and his Ph.D. in
comparative religion from the University of Chicago, where his dissertation
compared Tibetan, Theravadan and Yogic contemplative paths. He is co-author of Transformations
of Consciousness: Conventional and Contemplative Perspectives on Development, and
teaches extensively on hypnosis and behavioral medicine. |
